Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 10 June 2026
This policy explains how the Prosperise free trial, cancellations, and refunds work. It complements our Terms of Service. Billing is handled by Stripe.
1.Free trial
New paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to begin, but you are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged at all. If you do nothing, the plan automatically converts to a paid subscription at the price shown at checkout when the trial ends.
2.Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time — there is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. When you cancel, your plan does not renew at the end of the current billing period, and you keep full access until that period ends. After that, your account moves to a free/limited state; you can resubscribe whenever you like.
- In the app: Settings → Billing → Manage subscription (opens the secure Stripe customer portal).
- There you can cancel, change plan, update your card, and download invoices.
3.Refunds
Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period you choose (monthly or annually). Because you keep access until the end of a period you've paid for, fees already paid are generally non-refundable and we do not pro-rate partial periods — except where a refund is required by law or is described below.
4.When we do issue refunds
- Duplicate or incorrect charges, or a billing error on our side.
- A technical fault that we cannot resolve and that prevented you from using the service for a paid period.
- Where a refund is required by mandatory consumer-protection law in your country.
- At our reasonable discretion, on a case-by-case basis.
5.EU/EEA right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. Because Prosperise is a digital service, by starting to use it (including during the trial) you ask us to begin providing the service immediately; where you have expressly consented to this, the withdrawal right may no longer apply to the portion already provided. Your mandatory statutory rights are not affected by this policy.
6.Annual plans
Annual subscriptions work the same way: cancelling stops the next yearly renewal, and you keep access until the end of the paid year. Annual fees already paid are non-refundable except as set out above.
7.Cancelling vs. deleting your account
Cancelling stops billing but keeps your account and data. If you also want your data erased, use Settings → Security → Delete account, which cancels your subscription and permanently removes your account and associated data. Deletion is irreversible.
8.Chargebacks & contact
If something looks wrong with a charge, please contact us first at billing@prosperise.io — we will sort it out quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may lead to suspension while the dispute is investigated.
